Kensington Palace Gardens has been identified as Britain’s most expensive street for the 13th year in a row, according to property portal Zoopla.
The Zoopla “Rich List for 2021” – offers a rundown of the nation’s most expensive streets based on average house prices, and unsurprisingly London is home to the top ten most expensive streets in the UK, with Kensington Palace Gardens (W8) taking pole position with an average property price of £29,898,000.
Second place for 3 years in a row is Courtenay Avenue (N6) in Highgate, with an average property value of £19,440,000, it is located on the edge of leafy Hampstead Heath. Belgravia’s Grosvenor Crescent (SW1X) ranks thirds with an average property price of £17,212,000, a stone's throw from Buckingham Palace. The Boltons (SW10) is the highest newcomer to the list, positioned in fifth place and has an average price of £14,223,000.
Outside of the capital, Titlarks HIll in Ascot, Berkshire, has taken the crown as most the expensive street outside of London with an average property value of £8,410,000. Followed by Montrose Gardens in Leatherhead, Surrey which is located within the exclusive Crown Estate and produced an average house price of £7,017,000.
The data also demonstrated 11,673 streets in the UK now have an average property price of £1m and above; of these 4,544 are located in London.
